Hey everyone,

I just moved my turts to a new tank with two above the tank basking areas, I'll post pictures later, and they have been swimming around in the water for a good, 6 hours now. They rest now and then on the bottom and hang out there for a little, but then go around swimming again. However, they have not figured out how to get up on the basking area yet, should I be concerned?

Thanks so much!!

It could take longer. You might want to leave a trail of food on it and see if they know how to access the basking area.

I could guess that they will take some time getting use to the new home and finally figure it all out. Depending on your last set up, they may not see familiar surroundings and not sure what and where to go, just confused. Give it some time and they should come around.

It can sometimes take them several days (up to a week) to fully adjust to a new set up. Give it time! :)
