Urgent Care :: my turts eye

it seems like one of the eyes bruised or something...should i take it to the vet to have it looked at...here is a pic

Looks a little swollen. Separate them and see how it goes. Is the one with
swollen eyes lethargic, no appetite, mucus/bubble coming out from nose/mouth,
etc. Tell us how it goes after a few days.

You can try applying a little cod liver oil to the eye and see if it reduces the irritation.

yeah he has a an appetite...but seems less active than before....
it seems like the swolleness has gotten smaller...
i will try applying cod liver oil and see what happens...

Is that discharge coming out of the eye in that first pic? If it's an injury, I'm not sure I'd apply cod liver oil to it...The oil will help if he's got a Vit A deficiency, but if it's some sort of injury or irritation, I'd get some Zoo-Med eye drops (from a place like Petsmart or Petco) and try those. They have a weak form of Vit A in them, but other substances to sooth irritated eyes as well. Keep his tank water really clean.
