The turtles shell started getting a little bit of discoloration around the spine, around the bottom edges, and on some of the top right scutes. It does not look like the typical shell rot or soft shell. I thought it might be fungus? or maybe just the natural change since she is growing? or a diet issue? Her diet may seem weird but the sesame seeds and cuddle bone are for calcium and the rest i read is good for extra vitamins. I do take her out whenever the weather is good and let her stay in the sun but lately she has been inside. I haven't seen anything similar to this online yet and i need an opinion on if it is serious or something that she will grow out of. I appreciate any opinions! SOrry for the picture quality, i tried to get the best i could to show the contrast of color in the shell. Once again notice the upper right hand part of the shell and the bottom edges.

I'm no sure what's going on... fungus is usually more obvious. Maybe some light disinfecting and can you post a picture of the shell when it's dry?

yes sorry, the top was completely dry in these pictures. I'm going to take her outside and try to get a better picture right away. And what would light disinfecting consist of? I saw a lot of people talking about betadine?

Sorry this camera sucks from close up. Does that help anymore? It is not fuzzy just discolored and looks almost like they might be dried out.

Sorry, they still don't help. There seems to be a yellow spot near the edge of a seam on the vertebral scute, can you describe it?

Mild disinfecting requires betadine or hibiclense, both which you need to dilute. With betadine, you can scrub and the dry dock, with hibiclense, you need to scrub, rinse, then dry dock.
