Urgent Care :: Possible shell issue?

How is everyone today. I've had my RES for over a year now and i just recently noticed that he has some discoloration on his shell. Would anybody be able to tell me if this is possibly shell rot.

Looks like it's just shedding. Near the top/center, does it have a different appearance?

First - Welcome to the forum!
Do the areas you are concerned with have a golden color when under water? If yes, then odds are it is shedding.
If that is the case, just be patient. The skutes come off over a period of time, so it maybe awhile until it all sheds.
