Urgent Care :: i need help

i lost one of my turtles like 3 or 4 weeks ago i turned my room and my house upside-down looking for him and today i found him. he was in his shell and wouldnt come out so i puthim in some water and gave him food the after about an hour i put hime back in the tank with my other turtle when i put him in he just flots and wont eat i dont know what to do plaese help

You should also get him to a vet ASAP. Waiting any longer puts him further away from recovery.

If you can't until the next day, then go to a pharmacy and get some Pedialyte and soak your turtle in it. Put him in a separate tank from your other turtle, its not safe for either to be together. Keep the water warm, around 80 degrees.

A pharmacy... it shouldn't be hard to find one... you might also check CVS, RiteAid, large 24hr supermarkets...

You should also be able to find Pedialyte in the baby food section of the supermarket. I hope your turtle gets better.

Star doesn't look as bad as I thought he would from your initial description. How is he behaving? Is he more alert? Has he tried to eat anything?

Have you tried some live food, like an earthworm? It also might be good to get some liquid vitamins and put some in a separate feeding container with the water. If he drinks, he'll get some added nourishment.

besides not eating he floats on the top of the water i tried feeding him guppies
