to have a uvb bulb. right now i only have a basking bulb, and my petstore doesnt have ne fixtures for the uvb bulbs so i ordered one and it will be here by the end of next week. will my turt be ok untill then or should i buy like a household light fixture and just put the bulb in that in the meantime?

They'll be fine til next week but that's about as long as I'd let them go without it. Older turts can safely go a bit longer. Mine had to go 3 weeks without uvb once but they're 5in and their shells are healthy. He'll still need a heat lamp tho, even when the uvb gets there.

i know he still needs a heat bulb, but i was jw if hed be ok.
