General Care Discussion :: Blood Parrot Cichlids with Red Eared Sliders?

Hello! It's my first post here! I've been keeping Red Eared Sliders for about 6 years now, and other reptiles long before that.

But on to my question . . . Can Blood Parrot Cichlids be kept with Red Eared Sliders?

They seem like a less aggressive fish that would do well with my timid male RES. Anyone have experience with RES living with Blood Parrot Cichlids?

I'm not sure if anyone on this has specific experience with this fish, but RES will eventually eat most fish. Sometimes right away, sometimes years later.... you never know. Most fish can't harm RES, though I'm sure larger ones can be problematic. Welcome to the forum!
