SOrry for all these extra threads but i have another question....

I am wondering...... my turtle is small like the size of an canadian toonie..... i have a tank thats pretty high its a 35 gallon tank i filled the tank like a little more then 3/4 so its at a pretty high water level would this not be good for a turtle this small???

My tank is filled to about 3-4 inches from the top.

It's ok to fill it that high but you need to give the turtle a place to rest.. like fake plants, something for it to hold on to and float if needed. What sort of setup do you have?? As far as "decorations" .. plants etc. That would be my only concern with a small turtle and that much water. Some times it takes them time to get strong enough to handle having to swim so much for air so the plants floating are a good thing :)
