my turtle is getting to big for the 55 gallon tanks. I have been loking at stock tanks 175 or 300 gALLons would it be ok to put it in the basement we dont use this space at all. In upstaet ny.

Is your basement heated?? If not, I'd be a bit concerned about the cold air temperatures.

Maybe someone else has some more thoughts though :)

I have a 110-gallon stock tank in the living room. If the basement's ambient air temp isn't warm enough, you're going to have to find a way to keep the temp up.
