Hey everyone...
I need to get my RES a new BIGGER tank. What are the rules for cleaning out a new storebought one? Bleach? Soap? Nothing? I don't want to hurt my RES with any leftover chemicals I may use. Thanks!!!

Plenty of hot water should be fine. If necessary, white vinegar can also be used when cleaning.

Same as what he said, if it's store bought and completly brand new, it just needs to be rinsed.

Since it's from a store, I'd just rinse it well, over and over. If it was a used tank, I'd probably use a weak diluted bleach/water solution.

Give it a good bath with your hose outside. Power spraying it is good.
