Ok, I finally got around to cleaning out the used 20 gallon long tank that I found for Michelangelo at a yard sale. So here is what all I have for it so far (he's not in it yet)

1 medium sized fake plant set up (plants are attached to rocks)
1 small dock
3 snails
4 guppies
6 Ghost Shrimp

There are a few anacharis stalks in there. But I plan on getting more, here's what all I want to get feel free to add or advise or comment

above tank filter (found one I liked for 40 dollars that said for tanks 20-50 gallons don't remember who it was made by)
anacharis stalks
6 more shrimp
4 more guppies
a background to go around his tank
at least one or two more fake plant set ups
maybe a little decoration (they had a turtle standing next to a no trespassing sign that I thought would be cute)

Let me know what you think.
She is mine and I shall call her Michelangelo!

I'd not put so many "friends" in his tank. I'd just replace them as needed instead of putting them all in at once. What do you mean by an above tank filter? do you mean over the side?

I'm assuming you already have the heater and lights :) Otherwise, sounds good.

Yeah the one that creates the little waterfall as the only one he has is an in tank under the water filter that doesn't aggitate the top of the water.
