Habitat - Indoor :: Spider plants

hi i was wondering if you could put live spider plants in my turtles habitat? are they poisonous to them?

jojoginnick I split this question from the topic you had posted it under as it had nothing to do with the original posts subject.

To my knowledge Spider plants are not aquatic plants, so I'd not take a chance and put them in with your turtle.

thanks i appreciate it any thoughts on good plants to put in there. my guy (or girl) not sure yet is named squirt!

There's a list of foods under the Nutrition section of the forum which includes aquatic plans. Basically any plant that is good for fish would be good for your turtle. The most popular seem to be anacharis, water lettuce, water hyacinths, sword plant, there are a number of others. You can find the list here..
