I have 3 turts in a 125 gallon aquarium. Rocky is 5.5" Bullwinkle is 2.5" and Shelly is 4.5" They all get along fine but i was wondering if you guys thought i should put Bullwinkle back in the old 20 gallon tank?

It isn't recommended to keep smaller/younger turtles with larger turtles. There have been reports on the forum of younger ones being severely damaged and even killed. I would separate them, but Bullwinkle needs a bigger tank than 20 gallons soon so be ready to upgrade him. :)

If you intend on keeping them all in there, I would make sure to feed them separately and out of the tank. Last thing you want is some competition brewing in there though Bullwinkle may be big enough to fend for himself.

Ohhh... something I forgot about completely until reading Steve's post is that if you believe they will not be aggressive towards each other and decide to keep them together, you should have plants (fake or real) in the tank to break up the line of view. That way they have places to go to not see each other, kind of like their own private hangouts. But you shouldn't keep them together if there are any signs of aggression towards each other. :)

I remembered Steve posting that a while back about the plants, which is why I remembered it after I read Steve's post. ;)
