I have a small 10 gallon with five babies in it its a glass tank, then i got a 25 gallon acrylic tank with one turtle in there he's about 7" and i also have a big 95 gallon tank with one turtle in there he's about 7" too i have never checked the PH in any of my tanks but i want to start to moniter it due to the fact that im gonna be getting live plants for the tanks so any help would be great.

Well, according to this article from the main website, pH between 6 and 8 is considered safe.

i have a internal filter where would i add a water softenning pillow to it or even pete moss? this is also in the article. My grandma got some water softening pillows on mistake she thought it was salt for the front walk way so i got a whole big bag of it.

Do you know what your water pH is? What's the source of the water?

no i never checked it i just got my turtles about 2-3 months ago so im still setting up for them. I use faucet water here in Cambridge the water comes from a well i hear i also use "reptisafe" the guy who gave them to me i dont think he ever put anything in the water at all besides a heater and internal filter so they lived like that for 10 years an they seem good so a few more weeks wount killem I hope anyway. im in the process of getting everything i really dont make much money so its gonna take a bit.

The ReptiSafe is a water treatment primarily for added chlorine or chloramines in tap water. If you have a well, you probably don't need it.

Unless the ph in your well water is extreme, I think it would be more expensive and more effort to try to adjust it. Also, be aware that your turtles may decide to eat any plants you try to grow.
