Habitat - Indoor :: Is there too much water??

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Hi! I just got my RES Severus for Christmas and I bought him a ten gallon tank. I have it filled half way with a basking dock. He seems to be swimming around sort of frantically though. It's worrying me as I had a turtle when I was a little girl but he passed. Is there something I can do to put him at ease? Is there something I should add? I have a filter, a heat lamp, a UV lamp, a basking dock and all the space he needs to swim. But I feel as though he's unhappy. Am I being paranoid??? Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Chelsea

Babys are hiper. U could just add some resting spots near the top so she can breath without swimming.. U might as well add a plant so the turt can climb for air and not swim if its tired

Can you post a picture of the setup?

When mine was small, I put in a tree and some plants for him to rest on and he loved the tree to sleep in.
