Can I use a hood like this, with a basking bulb and a UVB bulb? Or will having the UVB sit on top of the tank be too close to the basking platform? I'd have to measure to be sure but I think it's about five inches from the top of the tank. I could also lower it if I needed to.

Although I'm not sure how I'd fit it on there, bc I have the PVC support holding up the platform, so...I made need to do the double dome. I don't want to do single clams lamps unless I have to. Can the basking bulb and UVB be the same distance from the platform? If I do the double dome, I'll use a stand instead do the dome sitting on a screen like I have it now.

Is there any difference between the 13 watt and 26 watt compact bulbs? They are both 5.0.

Based on the description, 1-3 UVB bulbs or 1 incandescent, not 1+1. They could be the same distance apart, though you need to accurately measure the temperature. There are other double hoods out there but they use their own special bulbs. What does your tank look like?

I think the stand or clamps would work out OK. Some people install a shelf to hold the lamps. You can also make a mini ATBA, that raises the edges so you can add a screen.
