Habitat - Indoor :: Lilly Pads?

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I have a pond very close to my home. Would it be a great idea to put lily pads in the tank?ant to give my turtles tank a pond like enviorment. I will clean it and everything. Just wanted to know.
Turtles:
Dexter (RES)
Shelby (RES - gone and I feel really really bad).
Miracle (Box Turtle - Given to me after Shelby left us).
Orion (Mississippi Map Turtle).

Mine will eat any plant, even plastic ones. You can try it and see.

My big one ate part of the root part.
