I have a constant struggle with algae and have tried doing everything I can to keep it under control but the algae is still winning. I was thinking of getting an algea eater but I don't know if they are safe to have in with the turts. I have two yaer old turts in a 60 gallon tank. If it is ok should I get one or two algae eaters? Help!!!! :o

Just keep in mind that anything you put in a tank is likely to become food. I have an algea problem as well and bought a pleco and a large snail...fist size. Well, the turts ganged up in the pleco and so he got removed, and then they ganged up on the snail. So, I am thinking of doing a tank swap and letting them clean for a night.
