What kinds of fish do you guys have in your tanks along with your turtles.

As food...
or
As a pet...

I just want some ideas, I'm hitting up pet smart today and maybe going to get some little friends that will be food and wont be food.

Well my turtle won't eat my fish so here is what I have

A Pleco
A Red Swordtail
A Orange and Black Swordtail
A lot of guppies
A Minnow
One fish I have no idea what it is, it's rainbow colored and has a black dot on its tail

And that's it. Besides the snails and ghost shrimp

Remember that adding fish is going to increase your bio load. Make sure you don't get more than your tank and filter size can handle.
I get rosy red minnows for eating. 12 cents each at Petsmart.

And just remember that any fish that you put into your tank is potential lunch to for your turtle.

I've got a couple tiger barb fish that seem to do fine with my turtles. I guess we'll see what happens as my RES get bigger.

Mine have decided to stop eating the guppies, but I can't leave my pleco in there, or my large snail. I guess it is part curiousity over something new.
