Hi,

I have had my RES for about a year. In the past few months I've noticed the water level in the tank dropping alot. I've had to add water at least once a week. Is this normal?

The tank seems to be fine, no cracks or anything.

It's evaporation. I have to add a couple of gallons of water weekly to keep the water level up.

Same here.. evaporation and it will only get worse with the hotter weather coming.

I find that the amount of evaporation varies with the humidity in the air. I have less evaporation in the summer, if it's hot and humid, than in the winter when the air is drier.
