Hi,
I am wanting to add a Large turtle statue and maybe two large rocks for easy tank cleaning. I was wondering if I could put something l ike this on the tank. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOM-TURTLE-BABY ... 5d49014e7a or large colorful glass rocks like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/261405914335?_t ... I would stick with natural rocks drift wood or mopani wood. But that's just me. Not sure how long the color on the turtle would last? Its not made to be submerged in water I'm sure. The glass rock might have sharp edges.

Those figures should be made for aquariums because of the paint and material used. Paint made for outdoors often use stronger chemicals as well.

As for some of those rocks, they can easily become brittle in water and chip away. I like Kansasslider's suggestions. Turtles also seem to prefer more natural surroundings.
