Habitat - Indoor :: 13w or 26w uvb

hey guys, I still need to purchase a uvb bulb for my RES. i was looking at the Exo Terra Repti Glo 5.0
now it comes in 13w as well as 16. i have heard that the 26w is ideal for adults. My turtle is about 2 inches so its still a hatchling or yearling at most. So should i go with the 13w? and this is going to be placed in a deep dome lamp about 6 inches above the turtle dock. Sound good?

Zoo Med Compact ReptiSun over the exo terra?

I'd slightly lean to the 13w since it will be so close. The 13w vs 16w (and the 5.0 vs 10.0 and the Reptiglo vs Reptisun) debate comes up every few months and there is no definitive answer. Do make sure you burn it in for a few hours first.

will do, i heard the burn in period should actually be more like a couple days..weeks?

It might vary with the brand. Personally, I would also keep it further away and incrementally move it closer and check for any issues.
