Hello turtles lovers

I went shopping today for some food for my babies. :msgreen: and finally got the cleaner for the water, calcium bone and the food they love.
The structure is to decrease the flow of the filter water.

What do you think about this products and brand? Is this wwater clean good in deed. Doesn't affect my turtles?

Turtle bone is the same as cuttlebone but more expensive. Remove the clips and hard backing regardless.

Reptomin is a good pellet, but there are other options. Looks like you have the one that also has gammarus. Keep it as an infrequent treat. There are better pellets out there, but I look into others.

Sludge destroyer.... we avoid these types of products.

Decorations are great since turtles like to explore, but make sure the turtle can't get stuck in/under/between it.

Hi Steve thanks so much for your tips. I'm new on turtles care and every single advice is pretty appreciate.
Well I bought this stuff here in Miami, USA in a store called PetSmart, is near to my job so I got there every time I have a chance and buy what I need and can afford, it's a little expensive but I haven't found another store cheaper near me. I also have walmart but there are almost no prosucts for turtles.

The structure I bought for placing under the filter water flow that was being to hard for my baby turtles and it stops a little the water flow, but hopefully they don't try to pass through it.

I thought that buying the slug destroyer will help us to maintain the water clean, we are having a har time with water maintenance, my husband and I rotate turns to clean it, we do it every weekend, we take the tank out and clean it completely, brush all decorations, etc. And thats so exausting, and I can't afford a better filter.

What do you think of these other food, they also like it but it mess uo the water badly.

Zoo Med is OK I think. Try to look for Omega One, I think most chain stores will carry it. You're doing frequent water changes because you need a bigger tank (more water) and a better filter. Once you have that, you can do fewer changes.

Hi Steve, thanks for always reply. I place the UVB light over the basking area and as you can see water is kinda cloudy today and we change it last sunday. But well upgrading the tank will have to wait a little lol.
