I noticed in one of your pictures that you have a turtle dock. Those work well if they are the right size. Shouldn't need another basking area. As long as the turtle has a place to climb out of the water and completely dry off.

I have two four inch turts that bask on a large dock from zoo med with no problem.

Do you have UVB and UVA lights for the dock? I remember an earlier post where your water temp was a bit too high. If the water temp is too high, and the basking temp not warm enough...either/or, then your turtle won't be encouraged to bask. The water temp for a turt your size...I will hope is over a year old, should be between 72 and 75. The basking dock temp...air temp should be 10 degrees higher. A UVA light, a standard household bulb, will provide the heat that is needed.
