Habitat - Indoor :: Sebastian's furture home and basking dock!

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I got this huge storage bin that looks suitable for a turtle home. Once it's all set up Sebastian will move in. I also made this basking dock out of 3/4" PVC. I will eventually cover it with ceiling tile mesh and a vinyl sheet underneath.

I might make a smaller one though, I'm not sure yet.

You can clean PVC and remove the lettering with acetone, nail polish remover.

Really need to get/make myself a basking dock, that seems like a really good idea, let us know how you get on with it...

The only thing that concerns me about it is how big it is. It is huge! I may have to make a similar one that just fits into one corner.

Big is okay! As long as he can go under it, it's not taking any space away from him.

Yes, he can go under this one. But I'm afraid that if there is air space under there he'll spend his life hiding.
