 I've tried everything without resulting to chemical algae removers, like the ones used in aquariums. I know it's safe for fish, but what about turtles? Also, the algae is on the glass, not the turtle. No one can answer me, so if you know for a fact, please let me know! Thanks!

I've heard of people on this site using algae fix. I don't personally use this, but to my knowledge from others on here, they haven't had a problem with it. You might also check reading through the outdoor section. People with outdoor set ups also have a problem with algae.

I've got a reptisun 10.0 and it causes algae to build up also. Glass, decorations, basking ramp, etc. I just wipe the glass down with a sponge when i do water changes. The rest I leave alone. It wont hurt the turts, It just a matter of asthestics. I wonder if algae remover can hurt the filter's biomedia?

Some algae removers can affect the beneficial bacteria. Read the product info to see if it is safe. The product should say it won't harm the bacteria.
