I finished my new outside basking area for my two read eared sliders - Lady and Tramp a few weeks ago and am finally able to share some pictures with you all. They still hesitate getting all the way in and jump off the ramp in panic whe I walk in but seem to be getting used to it - they have no choice , there isn't any other place to rest on.

That looks great! It looks like your two turts were about to capsize that dock, how funny. :lol:

spookster, it was indeed inspired mostly by your site - Thank you for your many pictures ! I used plexiglass for the ramp with stick-on tread ( The kind used on cement stairs )instead of the wood. The art work is my own - copy from the internet.

Yeah my ramp is also now plexiglass. It used to be wood but that didn't work out very well.
