resowner102--I just saw a pic of your tank that's divided water/dirt. What did you use to make the divider?

You can buy divider kits in many pet stores, and online. It is just plexiglass and some sealant and slides right in your tank, they make them for most all size tanks.

Were 1.3" and 1.4" when I got them on May 12, 2005

I've never seen any of those, that's something I'd like to make.

I've seen plexiglass dividers sold at Petsmart.

local hardware stores should carry sheets of acrylic that they can cut to size. however, its usually 1/8" thick, so if this is for a big tank, then glass might be a better option - especially if your tank is glass.

I custom made ours. My son is RESowner102. We might be taking it out because the big turts won't go into the dirt/land side. They are too used to the water I guess. We might just set that side up for our babies without the dirt.
