Hey I totally understand about people being worried about prey. I would feel guilty if I was responsible for a little fishy or froggy's life!! LOL That's why i'm having an inner struggle on wether to get some feeder fish for my turtle. I don't want to watch death!!

On this subject, would a Betta be bad for a turtle tank? Just curious

a beta would definetly not last long with your turts. If you're squeamish about watching the fishies get eaten, drop them in and leave the room for a while.

golden snails are very hardy and they are great tank cleaners i have about 12 in each tank and they are very good at withstanding the abuse of the RES
