thanks for the info, I think there is a reptile show in like a month or so by me so I might check it out and see if they happen to have some. And I cant agree with you more on the 3d background and plants, I'm not a fan of bare tanks. The more natural looking the better!

Hmm you probably will have to wait till a June/July reptile show. IF your reptile show is anything like the couple i have here in PA. Winter is basically dead for turtle hatchlings. Diamondback terrapins are sold very fast at the shows. The few vendors at my shows sell out of concentric hatchlings in the first hour usually even online they are bought up pretty fast.

Still not good enough for me haha. I need plants and a 3D background

Isn't the tank only for winter seasons? The 3D background could be a lot of work for only using it a couple months a year. But its worth seeing happy  in the end. : )

Yea its only for winter use, but its doesnt matter to me. I wanna really make this tank awesome.

No, its actually Maryland sand. Sand from Maryland has a natural orange tint to it.

Beach you could say. Actually taken from a sand delivery from Maryland for construction purposes. The sand has been sitting in a bag for about 30 years. It wasnt bought in anyway.
