Eggcrate or acrylic will make a fine fence.

Menard's is not in my area, but they should have it. Check the lighting section. A local hardware store should have it too... maybe even cheaper.

I got egg rate from Home Depot and made a top and put a lot of water in. She DOES bask, but only when I'm not in the room. When I walk into the room I seem to see a skipper-sized object splash into the water. He he. So, until future notice, case solved!

The topper, does it offer her enough privacy? They're sometimes skittish around new objects in their environment.

She has a lot of plants in her aquarium. And another one is coming today. She doesn't seemed bothered by it at all.
