I made a basking area out of a 5 gallon bucket and a large rock. The possibilities are endless.

That's a good idea and would have been easier, how did you build the ramp?

Its 1/4" plexi that I bent with a torch. Mounted with 2 tap cons. You would need a small hammer drill. Then I put bathtub anti slip tape on the plexi for traction.

I like it guys! :) PVC would probably last longer as long as you're using turtle safe glue. ;)

For PVC, you can order different colors (not to be confused with ABS) and make something from that. Not as cheap or easy to get as the white ones, but it will last forever.

FORMUFIT Makes all the colored pipe and fittings that I found the least expensive.. Glue is something to keep in mind. As long as its potable water safe its fine. I believe loctite makes glue you could use.

@cutepanda86 - You will not likely need PVC cement or glue if when just using 90º elbows. The weight of the tile holds everything down nicely.

@Kansasslider - thanks for that link! I'm looking to update my turtle stuff eventually.
