Habitat - Indoor :: Got bigger rocks for my tank

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

So I had these Rocks:

Emptied the tank:

Went to a landscaping place and go 50 lbs. of rocks for $10:

Washed them:

And put them in the tank:

Hope yall are happy now that I don't have small rocks (I am happy cause I don't want my turtles hurt by swallowing small stones)

do a water change, seems very cloudy.

Did you wash those rocks with soap? Hope you rinsed them very very well. Soap residue is extremly hard to wash off and it can hurt your turtle. To prepare rocks for the tank boil them in hot water after scrubbing them under running water first. This way there won't be a risk of soap getting left behind.

The new set up looks good, I actually preferred the picture you have without anything in the bottom of the tank though. :)
