Habitat - Indoor :: What other animal(s) can I add to their tank?

We recently acquired 2 baby RES. We were wondering if we could add anything, such as a newt or guppies or something to that effect to their tank. They are still very small (about 2 or 3 inches).

anything you put in a tank with an RES is potentially going to be considered as food. Many people feed their turtles feeder fish, guppies and minnows (not goldfish though, they are too fatty). Also, RES need a LOT of water, I'm not sure something like a newt is kept in the same type of aquatic environment as an RES.

I've fed mine mollies and guppies. He'll also eat snails.
