Habitat - Indoor :: My 90% completed 180 build

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I am about 90% finished with my 180 gallon set up.

I have three pieces of driftwood from Adams Driftwood on Ebay. They are great pieces. And they don't need to be soaked, they are already cleaned no leeching.

I am using 100 lbs of pool filter sand. It works great and looks amazing.

I have some plastic plants in there that the little guys taste every once and a while.

I am running two Fluval E 300 heaters that work like a charm and are very easy to use and to read.

I am running an XP4 and an Fx5. The currents that they create are good, but I ended up buying a power head to get rid of the one dead spot that there was in the tank. It worked like a charm and there are no dead spots through out the entire tank, which is really cool to see. lol

I have a uvb bulb and a heat bulb set up over their basking log they love it.

Thank you very much. Interestingly enough it only had to sit over night full of water with 2 gallons of vinegar in there. Then the next morning it only took me about an hour with a razor blade on a handle to get the glass squeaky clean. I got the tank for $150 so I would say it was worth the elbow grease.
