I want to make a change to my turtle 75 gallon tank. I want to do something more natural, what aquatic plants are safe for turtles in case he decides to eat them? and any other recommendations to create that natural habitat for my red ear slider? I don't want anything artificial.

(Pool Filter) Sand is a very popular and nice substrate to use for RES. I would also suggest some cork bark, though there are a few other types of wood that you can use in a tank. As for plants... it's a bit tricky. Rooted plants are vulnerable because RES would tear into it, and probably not worth it. There are some fast growing floating plants, but they can get out of hand in a tank.
