i'm not a real expert in this whole turtle thing. so that's why i need your help. so far i just have a submersible or however you spell it heater, and polished rocks. i'm hoping one day soon i'll add more . i also use a 10 gallon tank and i fill the water up about an inch or 2. it's still sorta small and it seems to be not climbing on the rocks as much as i thought it would. do you think it's good enough for now ? should i add more water too? thanks

Check out the stickys on this site. They'll give you all the basic care/feeding info. Do you have a filter? UVB light? Heat lamp?

If you can make the basking area higher, go ahead and add more water but do it gradually so he gets comfortable with it. You can fill it up as high as possible without him being able to climb out.

Do you have a basking area he can easily get on? He may not be climbing on the rocks because their polished and he can't grip them...
