I plan on putting some guppies in the tank with my turtle for multiple reasons. Feeding, company, looks nice, etc....My question is, how do I take care of these fish? (I'm assuming he wont eat all of them, not right away anyhow) Do I have to buy seperate food, materials, etc? Thanks for your help

well I have feeder fish in my tank and I've yet to feed them and they've been in there for a month. They eat left over greens/plants and turtle food. So, I'd not feed them, let them earn their keep :)

same here. I've had guppies in the tank for months. A friend of mine got upset when she asked what I fed them and I said "nothing", but obviously they're eating leftovers and junk because they're breeding like crazy.

Yeah I think all three of my females are pregnant and I've never feed mine in a month and a half.

I usually get a dozen. Some get eaten, the rest help clean up the tank.
