I have a tank in my patio room. In the summer the tank will be heated by the sun. Its like a indoor setup outside. How cool is that?

Do not use the sun to heat an indoor setup. How big is the tank anyway?

While it's fine (and even beneficial) for turtles to get natural sunlight when the weather permits, it's VERY dangerous to leave a tank in the sun. The water heats up quickly and the fluctuations in temperature can cause a RES to become ill and/or die.
You'd also have an algae bloom like you can't believe.

It's best to keep a tank indoors in a more controlled environment and set up a temporary outdoor set up for the summer for your RES to enjoy under your supervision.

A tank that size definitely cannot go in direct sunlight, you'll bake your turtle.

I guess I'll move it to the living room.
