31" 3/4 long in its entirety 13" 1/4 the hide box
18" 1/2 long the open area but he only uses the hide box being a slider and all
12 inches tall I call it a habitat because so does Zoomed in there actual outdoor enclosure. not my little imitation project

Post Posted: Mon Jun 01, 2009 10:56 am   I already did

I recently left him outside since he has a hiding area but he crawled under a gap in my cage and dip in the grass. It took me 10 minutes or more or less to find him next to my garage and Mary statue thanks god.

I was gonna say, RES's are excellent escape artists and will dig under stuff, but it looks like a good idea. Maybe weight down the top so that he can't push it up.

That's very nice for a short outdoor stay. The concept would be really cool on a larger scale with a little pond in the middle if he wanted to jump in to regulate his body temp.

I would love to have one of those in an outdoor pond set up, where the turtle could just run in there and hide whenever it wanted too.
