We have a waterfall that is at the top of the 75' stream which empties into our pond. The pond is 16'x30' with one end being about 2-3' deep and 4' deep at the other end. I think it's about 3,500 gal.
There's a bottom filter and a top skimmer filter which keeps the pond really clean.
We built our previous pond, but after re-doing it for the 3rd time, we decided we'd had enough..... so we hired someone to build the pond we have now.
Fred & Ethel are pretty happy in their new home... we got our RES in June of this year. They're both about 7-8" and they are VERY shy.
By the way... I'm new to this site and I'm hoping that all of you will give me some great idea's to keep my turtles healthy, happy and safe.
