Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

Our male turtle (Pond outside) is very nasty to our two females. We are familiar with mating tactics, but this is down right mean. He bites them so hard that they develop white marks/scars. Can anyone help? Thanks. Audrey

You need to separate him from the other turtles, sometimes turtles are just aggressive and don't play well with others.. in those cases they need a home of their own.

Take him out before one of the females is more seriously hurt... it's only a matter of time before one of them is missing a limb or a tail.

I agree with breigh, OR you can put some sort of divider in the pond, so you can isolate the male. And then boom, problem solved.

Have the bites healed? Are you treating it with something? I would, you dont want it to get infected.
