So we broke ground this weekend for our new 125 Gallon Pond. Here are the pics:

The pond is in the 2 foot deep hole already but I haven't taken any pics yet. Right now we're packing in dirt underneath and around it. We hope to have the turts in next weekend if weather permits. We're going to start building a wall around the pond with the bricks we took out of the ground.

I'll continue to update through the next few days.

Pretty cool! I just got done installing a pond that was the same size as yours (125 G) a couple days ago. Please keep us updated ;)

The basking area will come to about midway on the orange container. It will include a nesting area.

Checklist:
-Make brick wall around
-Fill enclosure with river rocks
-Blow dirt out of pond
-Finish Basking area/Nesting site
-Fill Pond
-Put Happy turtles in!
-Add fountain
-Watch and relax!

We plan to be done by this weekend!

That looked soooooooo easy cause it was sandy,lol. Try digging through Texas clay in 100' texas heat,lol
