Should the heater be kept on during the summer?
and how accurate are the thermometer stickers? Last time I checked it was the same as my submersible thermometer.

I haven't used a heater in my tank. The light keeps it around 76 and only loses a couple degrees at night. My tank is 35 gallons, so a bigger tank may need more than a light and I do have a heater in case I need it during the winter. My sticker seems to be accurate. I also check it often with a submersible. Just my $.02 though.

I take the heaters out of the tank during the hottest months of the summer, rinse/clean them off and put them away for the fall.
