I am in the process of setting up a 100-150 gallon stock tank on a balcony. I was just wondering since it is going to out of the ground but still outside should i use a pond filter or canister filter?

Which ever works best for you. Consider the set up and how to attach things. Also, make sure the balcony can hold the weight of the filled tank. Don't want it all plummeting down.

thanks for the advice. The balcony has major support beams below it which should be able to hold the wieght. I will probally use a fluval fx5 incase i ever decide to bring them inside.

I can see that XD. They're cute aliens though! :D

LilTurtSquirt has a point. The G6 is all nice and high tech, but if you're looking for power, the FX5 is great.
