Habitat - Outdoor :: Snapset Kiddie Pool for Turtles?

Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

Hi,

I've been thinking of getting a bigger 'pond' for my turtle (female:7yrs). Is it all right to use those snapset kiddie pools, the ones with the flimsy sides that usually have prints on them?

I've been looking all around locally and I can't find those hard plastic pools large enough for my turtle. Livestock water troughs are too expensive and heavy. The sides are also too high, I want my turtle to be able to have a view when she is basking.
I don't want to risk anything with an inflatable pool, so those are a definite NO.

I've tried searching online for those hard plastic pools or large suitable containers but unfortunately, I couldn't find any stores that would ship the item internationally. Any suggestions on what I could do?

I've had a hard time with those pools though people do use them. They really don't afford any protection and are not as stable as other solutions but they can be useful for short term use.
