okay..finally i got my bag of mazuri and was wonderfing if they are suppose to be tiny little dark brown ball pellet or not. normally i get the food thats containerized with labels on them so i know what im buying but mazuri came in a reg clear bag that someone wrote maz fresh 1 lb. just curious cuz i know how ppl can make an errors often, especially when they are so busy.

i would be worried about using it. i would want a actuall bag thats factory sealed

no daniel, mine came in a clear bag and someone wrote on it with black sharpie.....maz fresh 1lb. im sure they buy gang load of them to sell off at a cheaper price. im wonderfing if chris got his this way. if not, i got mine free anyways and discarding it wouldnt be a problem for me.

My Mazuri comes exactly like yours blind44. I keep most of it in the freezer and keep the rest in a small container for feeding to Spot. He absolutely adores the stuff.

yeah....imma go buy me one of those plastic container type thingee and freeze most of them.

both my turts absoultly loved it. i did notice that my smaller res brownie had hard time eating it because mazari was just too hard to break/chew. i saw him giving up several time after trying so hard to eat it....=(

You might try scooping up some tank water and soaking them before you give them to the turts. That should mush them up a bit and make it easier for the baby.
