I'm sorry if this has been covered before it probably has but I'm new here so here we go anyway. I have read here not to use floss. My filter is set up like this. In the bottom tray there is floss with carbon on top of that in the top tray there is floss with a black sponge? Can someone tell me of a better way to use media. The floss is getting clogged up way to fast. And please dont tell me I bought the wrong filter I just spent a ton of money on my new tank and everything to make my turtles happy. Thank you for any help.Oh yea it's a 40 gal breader with 2 hatchlings.

The cascade setup is here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30145#p288938

As you experienced, the reason why the floss is not recommended is because of clogging.
