Equipment Review and Discussion :: reptisun 5.0 fluorescent tube

I ordered a reptisun 5.0 compact fluorescent bulb online and got the 15" tube by accident. They resent the correct bulb and were supposed to send a call tag but the delivery guy didn't take this one and they didn't answer my calls after that. So I have this tube, and I'd like to use it if possible if we get our box turtle, but I can't find a fixture! I'm hunting all over online trying to find a fixture for a 15 inch bulb and am getting nothing. Do any of you have them? And if so, where did you find them?

Wow, thats weird. Are you sure it is not a 15 WATT bulb, and an 18" LONG bulb?

Nope, definitely 15 inches, and 14 watts.

Any chance you could link me to what you found? I went through that site and couldn't find any fixtures smaller than 24".

Have you checked your local hardware store?

I've always been told that fixtures for 15-inch tubes are really hard to find and that's why I've always suggested 18-inch tubes...That said, perhaps a place like Lowes, that seems to have a good variety of different size fixtures, would have something you could use.
