They have a whole article about it on their website- http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/solar_glo.php . I really like the company Exo-terra. They do a pretty nice job with their items. I would think this bulb is a nice one.

I've heard of it, but especially for MVBs, I'd stick with one of the better known brands (T-Rex Active UVB Heat, Mega-Ray, even the Zoo-Med Powersun). MVBs are relatively expensive, and you have a better chance of getting a bulb that delivers what the company claims it will (and your money's worth) by buying one of these bulbs.

We bought and sent a Solar Glo to be tested back in October. It was sent to this site http://www.uvguide.co.uk/ though we don't have the results yet.

Even though Exo Terra is a considered to be a good brand, I'd wait for the test results AND more user experiences. Considering that MVBs should last a year, I'd rather spend the extra $10 or 15 for a T-Rex or Mega Ray.
